Consider we have a parent element div with two child elements.
<div id="container"> <p>Hello</p> <p>You can't see</p></div>
Removing all Child elements
First, we are accessing the parent element by using its id attribute.
const div = document.getElementById('container');
Next, we are removing all child elements by assigning an empty string to the parent element innerHTML property.
div.innerHTML = " ";
Similarly, we can also remove by creating the while loop using firstChild property.
const div = document.getElementById('container');while(div.firstChild){ div.removeNode(div.firstChild); }
The while loop keeps on checking for the firstChild and removing the first child from the parent element using the removeNode() method.
The while loop stops if there is no firstChild found inside div.
