To set the focus to an element, first we need to access the element inside the JavaScript using the document.getElementById() method.

const input = document.getElementById("name");

Now, call a focus() method on it.

// sets the focus to an input elementinput.focus();

In the above example, we have used the HTMLElement.focus() method to set the focus on a selected element.

The focus() method sets the keyboard focus on an element it was called on.
