When we use a Array.map() method on a value which is not an data type array we will get the following error in our console.

Example:

const obj =  {};obj.map(element =&gt; {    console.log(element);});

Output:

"TypeError: obj.map is not a function

In the example above, we are getting the error because we using the map() method on a object.

To fix the error, we need to call the map() method on a data type array.

Here is an example:

const arr = [2, 3, 4];arr.map(el=&gt; el+2);

or we can check if the given value is an type array or not before calling the map() method on it.So that we can avoid runtime errors.

var arr = [2, 3, 4];if(Array.isArray(arr)){    arr.map(el=&gt; el+2);}

By default, Eloquent automatically maintain the date time value in created_at and updated_at column on your database table. If you do not want for eloquent to maintain created_at and updated_at columns then disable it by adding following property in your model class :

class Member extends Eloquent {
 protected $table='members';
 public $timestamps= false;
}

class Member extends Eloquent { protected $table = 'members'; public $timestamps = false;}

If you want to map Laravel's timestamp from created_at to created_on and updated_at to modified_on then you can override const on your model in following way :

const CREATED_AT = 'created_on';const UPDATED_AT = 'modified_on';

Now Eloquent will take care of the column "created_on" and "modified_on" on your database table.
